Matt Gagnon of Mazu Publishing, a ‘Johnny come lately’ to the internet get rich quick world has clearly risen above the simple purveyor of sleazy, worthless, home brewed 'how to' guides and elevated himself into the realm of a true Master Thief.
Matt Gagnon pulled off one of the internet's biggest thefts, to the tune of over $80 million dollars and so far has gotten away with his booty. Yes... that number is correct, Matt Gagnon stole over $80,000,000 from innocent, hard working, middle income families and retired folks alike.
How was Matt Gagnon able to pull this off? It was easy ...people trusted him.
So let me tell you exactly how Matt pulled this off. Of course, some details we'll never truly know until Matt is arrested and brought to justice by the Federal Authorities. And while some of the things I'm about to tell you seem completely outlandish and cruel, keep in mind that hurting others has never been something Matt Gagnon shied away from.
Just look at Matt's previous dismal business record and combine that with a personal life in shambles. Some claim that Matt's wife divorced him because her conscientious wouldn't allow her to profit from Matt's 'blood money' while others claim that Matt's wife leaving him for the 'man next door' was the final straw that pushed Matt to this extreme level of guttural thievery.
Matt started out partnering with a 'front man' named Greg McKnight. Greg was used as the 'older and wiser' image of a successful investor and trader who had started a high yield investment company, called Legisi The premise of Legisi was that that they were the only honest ones out there and Legisi's mission was to 'chase the other scammers right off the net'.
Matt Gagnon - The Shill
Matt Gagnon acted as the shill in the operation and used Mazu Publishing to further perpetuate the fact that everyone else out there was a 'scammer' and that Greg McKnight / Legisi was the only legitimate operation that truly could be trusted.
Little could be further from the truth!
Because as it turned out, Mazu and Legisi were really one in the same. In fact, even the office admin at Mazu was also the office admin for Legisi. She even went by the name of 'LegisiMary' in her email address. For anyone really paying attention, it became obvious that Matt Gagnon and Greg McKnight were for all practical purposes the same person as well.
Matt / Greg ran a masterful shell game, building trust, paying out small amounts to build credibility and then doing exactly what a Master Thief does... Matt Gagnon disappeared with all the money... $80 million dollars vanished into thin air overnight... right along with Matt Gagnon and the hopes and dreams of his victims.
I was told of a cancer patient that was able to reach Matt Gagnon and plead for her money to be returned so she could pay her medical bills but Matt simply made more excuses and pretended that he too was a victim... a victim of what I'm not sure but I'm certain that he'll be able to pay his bills when he needs to.
